EYE ON CRIME: Police seek help locating vandalism and theft suspects

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help to locate one person who damaged a car and another who stole a bike. To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers released photos.

On Aug. 30, an unknown man was causing a disturbance in the 2000 block of Wellington Avenue when, police said, he threw the backpack he was wearing at the windshield of a stopped vehicle. The backpack in question contained a fire extinguisher and smashed the vehicle’s window. The suspect fled the area.

On Aug. 20, an unknown person entered an apartment building in the 300 block of Roslyn Road and stole a bicycle.
