Two men face charges after a stolen vehicle was tracked to Onanole, Manitoba, and recovered by RCMP.

At approximately 8 a.m. on Monday, Neepawa RCMP were alerted that a vehicle stolen from Winnipeg had been located in the area. Though the vehicle was no longer at the initial site, officers were updated that it was heading towards Onanole.
RCMP officers from Dauphin, Neepawa, and Wasagaming, along with Manitoba Police Dog Services (PDS), responded to the area. The vehicle was found at a business on Wapati Drive in Onanole with two male occupants.
The driver, a 28-year-old Saskatoon man was arrested without incident. However, the 25-year-old passenger from Steinbach fled on foot. PDS Marook tracked him down a short distance away and he was taken into custody.
The Saskatoon man has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. The Steinbach man faces charges of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, resist arrest and an outstanding warrant of arrest from Winnipeg.
Both men were released for a later court date. The investigation is ongoing.
