Staff at Grace Hospital are concerned for the well-being of a woman who left the hospital before receiving medical care.
Melissa Duck, 42, was airlifted from a remote northern community, Winnipeg police said in a news release Monday. At about 8 p.m. Sunday, staff told police she had left the hospital.
Her condition is potentially life-threatening.
Duck is about five feet, six inches tall and has a medium build and long, dark-coloured hair, police said. She was wearing dark clothing when she left the hospital.
Anyone with information on Duck’s whereabout is asked to call investigators at 204-986-2842, the non-emergency line at 204-986-6222, or 911 for an emergency.
