Police are asking the public to help identify two people they describe as “persons of interest” in the February death of Charles Danny Chartrand in Winnipeg.
The 43-year-old was found stabbed and critically injured in an apartment on Fountain Street, between Logan and Alexander avenues in the city’s Centennial neighbourhood, shortly after 3 a.m. on Feb. 3.
He was rushed to hospital but died.
Investigators have since found surveillance images of two people in the area around that time.
They hope someone will recognize the individuals as they may have valuable information, police said in a Thursday news release.
Anyone with video surveillance or information that could help investigators is asked to call police at 204-986-6508 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
Anonymous tips can also be left through the Crime Stoppers website.
