Residents of Manitoba town can now safely drink water
A boil water advisory in Gimli, Man., was lifted Monday afternoon.
People in Gimli had been dealing with a boil water advisory this May long weekend due to a power failure that led to pump failures at the town’s water treatment facility.
The water pump is now operating normally and the town’s website said the boil water advisory was lifted around 2:15 p.m.
