It’s last call for a popular Osborne Village coffee shop as Starbucks is closing up shop for good.

According to a notice on the front door, the store at 481 River Ave., has “permanently closed.”
“We would like to thank you for being part of our store community,” the notice reads.
“You are the very heart of who we are at Starbucks. It has been a great pleasure to connect with you every day. We are very thankful to have played a role in your daily routine and that you have shared these moments of your life with us.”
The notice did not give any reason for the closure but the store initially closed on May 6 shortly after a man was attacked while inside the vestibule of the Liquor Mart next door to the Starbucks. It was the latest in a series of serious incidents in the Osborne Village area recently.
