Several streets will be affected by road closures for the Manitoba Marathon on Sunday.
Several streets close completely, while single lanes of traffic also affected in other areas
Several streets will be affected by road closures for the Manitoba Marathon on Sunday.
That includes three streets that will be completely closed from 2 a.m. until 3 p.m. that day, the City of Winnipeg said in a news release on Friday.
They are the off-ramp from southbound Pembina Highway to eastbound Jubilee Avenue, University Crescent from Chancellor Matheson Road to Pembina Highway and Chancellor Matheson Road from Research Way to University Crescent.
Other roads will be closed as well, but reopen before 3 p.m. More information about road restrictions is available on the marathon’s interactive course map.
Single lanes of traffic on many roads throughout the city will also be affected, the release said. Transit will be rerouted during those closures.
