RCMP in Thompson seized more than 250 grams of crack cocaine, along with a 9mm handgun and about $8,000 in cash during a June 14 raid on a Greenway Crescent residence.
A 28-year-old man and 22-year-old man from Winnipeg, along with two 18-year-old men and a 28-year-old man from Thompson face multiple charges including possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and various firearms-related charges. They were remanded in custody.
Two other men from Winnipeg, aged 18 and 22, were later released from custody for a court appearance in Thompson on Sept. 27.
Thompson RCMP continue to investigate.
