A man fatally injured in a northern Manitoba city last week has been identified by RCMP as investigators look for answers regarding his death.

Anyone who was in contact with Wilkie Colon late Friday, early Saturday asked to contact RCMP

A man fatally injured in northern Manitoba last week has been identified by RCMP, as investigators look for answers regarding his death.

Wilkie Colon, 51, was discovered with life-threatening injuries around 6:30 a.m. Saturday in Thompson, near the public library on Thompson Drive, police previously said.

He was rushed to hospital, then airlifted to Winnipeg in critical condition. He died from his injuries on Sunday.

RCMP ask that anyone who had contact with Colon on Friday night or early Saturday morning contact investigators at 204-677-6909.
