Police search for robbery suspect

Winnipeg police are looking for a man in connection with a robbery earlier this month where the suspect allegedly fired a gun.

Police said Thursday they were called to the 1000 block of McPhillips Street after receiving a report from a woman who said she had been robbed by an armed man.

The suspect allegedly tried to rob the 25-year-old victim of her property while threatening her with a gun.

During the altercation, the gun was fired. The victim was not injured and the suspect fled, according to police.

Krell Curtis McDougall, 22, is wanted in connection with the robbery, including several weapon-related offences after being identified in an investigation by the Winnipeg Police Service’s Major Crime unit.

McDougall is considered dangerous and should not be approached, police said.
