EYE ON CRIME: Crime Stoppers asks for public’s help to find shoplifter, suspect in office break and enter

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating suspects in a shoplifting and an office break and enter. To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers released photos.

An unknown male attended to retail store in the 1300 block of Sargent Avenue on June 23 and selected merchandise from the counters, Crime Stoppers said. The suspect then allegedly began to exit the store without paying for this merchandise and was confronted by store employees. The suspect produced a weapon in a threatening manner causing the employees to retreat allowing to the suspect to flee the area.

An unknown male attended and illegally gained access to a building in the 300 block of Main Street on March 7. The suspect attended to several offices within the building and allegedly stole property belonging to their occupants before fleeing, Crime Stoppers said.
