Man injured in shooting in Riverton residence

Gimli RCMP responded to a shooting at a residence in Riverton on Sunday, around 10:50 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers learned that four male suspects, one armed with a gun, had entered the home and confronted two men. An altercation ensued, resulting in a shot being fired.

A 44-year-old man from Lynn Lake sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the hospital where he remains in stable condition. The other victim, a 33-year-old man from Riverton, was not injured.
