At 7:02 p.m. on Monday, August 5, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to reports of fire at a vacant single-storey commercial building in the 1500 block of Arlington Street.
Upon arrival to the scene, smoke was coming from the structure. Firefighters entered the building to put the fire out using hose lines. The fire was declared under control at 7:24 p.m.
Crews completed a search of the building and no occupants were found. No injuries were reported.
Damage estimates are not available at this time. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
