2 pedestrians hit by vehicles overnight in separate incidents, Winnipeg police say

Winnipeg police are investigating after two pedestrians were hit by vehicles in separate incidents early Saturday.

A person was hit near the Redwood Bridge just before 2 a.m.., police say. The entire bridge is closed Saturday morning as officers investigate.

Around 4 a.m., police say a second person was hit on Pembina Highway, between Plaza Drive and Adamar Road.

Police say the adult pedestrian was hit by a vehicle heading south, and is now in hospital with serious injuries.
