Tower maintenance will cause disruptions for CBC Manitoba’s FM signal

Some CBC listeners may be impacted by a service interruption on Friday due to maintenance on the tower located on the Richardson building in downtown Winnipeg.

The outage will impact the listener experience for CBC Radio Manitoba 89.3 FM between 8:45 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tower maintenance previously affected the 990AM signal on Wednesday from the tower in Springstein, Man., located west of Winnipeg.

The towers can operate on reduced power, but they are generally off-air during periods of maintenance.

During these outages, listeners can tune into CBC Radio One on an alternative signal, listen app at cbc.ca/listen and on the local section of the CBC News app.
