EYE ON CRIME: Crime Stoppers asks for public’s help to find suspects in robbery, threat

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect in a theft of bicycles and another who made “inappropriate remarks at staff members.” To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers released photos.

On July 19 an unknown person gained access to the bicycle storage area by cutting a hole in the surrounding fence at an apartment block in the 100 block of Alexander. The person then used a grinder to cut the locks off of several bikes before stealing them.

On July 8 an unknown man attended to retail store in the 1400 block Portage Ave., and began to make inappropriate remarks at staff members. When the suspect was asked to leave the store as a result of those inappropriate comments he threatened staff before fleeing the store.
