Woman wanted in connection with March shooting death in Winnipeg

A 25-year-old woman is wanted by police in connection with the killing of Edgar Allan Bear in Winnipeg earlier this year.

Breanne Joan Bruyere is wanted on charges of manslaughter and obstructing justice, police said in a news release issued Tuesday.

Police consider Bruyere dangerous and advise the public not to make contact with her.

Bear, 56, was found dead in a house on Selkirk Avenue near McNichol Street, in the city’s Shaughnessy Park neighbourhood, on the afternoon of March 18.

Maxim Dale Garneau was arrested in April and charged with second-degree murder.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Bruyere is asked to call the homicide unit at 204-986-6508.
