Multiple houses burning in Winnipeg’s Glenelm area, dozens of firefighters on scene

Dozens of emergency units are in Winnipeg’s Glenelm neighbourhood where at least three homes are burning.

Dozens of emergency units are in Winnipeg’s Glenelm neighbourhood where at least three homes are burning.

A large portion of the roof of a 2½-storey house is gone while heavy smoke could be seen coming from the homes on either side of it.

Crews were called to the fires on Cobourg Avenue, between Beatrice Street and Henderson Highway, around 6:40 a.m.

There’s no word on any injuries.
