EYE ON CRIME: Police seek help identifying vandal, robbery suspects

Winnipeg Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help to locate a man who smashed a car window and another who stole a wallet and then used the financial cards to make purchases. To help generate tips, Crime Stoppers released photos.

On July 20, a man used a brick to smash the rear window of the victim’s vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of Sherbrook St. The suspect fled the area but a witness was able to obtain a photo of him and then pass the info on to the victim.

On July 21, the victim was shopping at retail store in the 3900 block of Grant when his wallet and cell phone were stolen. A short time later the victim’s financial cards were used to make several purchases.
