Three Winnipeg police officers have been charged after an internal investigation, police said in a media notification Thursday.

Three Winnipeg police officers have been charged after an internal investigation, police said in a media notification Thursday.

The Winnipeg Police Service will release more information about the professional standards unit investigation at a news conference at 1:30 p.m.

Deputy Chief Gene Bowers and Supt. Cam Mackid are scheduled to speak at the news conference at police headquarters.
