Boy, 13, last seen in Lord Roberts area found safe, say Winnipeg police

A 13-year-old boy who was reported missing has been found safe, according to Winnipeg police.

Teen who had not been seen since Friday afternoon has been located

Winnipeg police say a 13-year-old boy who was last seen in the city’s Lord Roberts neighbourhood on Friday has been found safe.

The teen was last seen around 4:40 p.m. Friday, police said in a missing person advisory issued over the noon hour Monday.

Late Monday evening, police said he has been safely located.

CBC News has removed the boy’s name and photo to protect his identity now that he has been found.
