Death of woman, 23, in Norway House, Man., considered suspicious: RCMP

RCMP say a 23-year-old woman was found dead in a residence in central Manitoba on Tuesday.

A 23-year-old woman was found dead in a residence in central Manitoba on Tuesday, RCMP say.

Mounties were called to the home around 7:30 a.m. in Norway House, located 457 kilometres north of Winnipeg, according to a Tuesday news release. 

When RCMP and paramedics arrived, they found the woman dead inside and are considering her death as suspicious. 

Mounties did not identify the woman in the news release. 

RCMP’s Major Crime Services, along with the Norway House detachment and forensic identification services, continue to investigate.
