Chris Okell is honouring his late mother with a Halloween tradition. Each October, he brings joy to people through a display of huge jack-o’-lanterns, while collecting donations for a cause close to his heart. Okell’s mother, Marietta, passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2010. In 11 years, $69,000 has been raised for CancerCare Manitoba though the Pumpkin Promise.
