Gimli man, 63, missing since Thursday may be in Winnipeg or Ile des Chenes

The family of a 63-year-old Gimli man who was last seen at his home on Thursday are concerned for his well-being.

The family of a 63-year-old Gimli man who was last seen at his home on Thursday are concerned for his well-being.

Gerard Dubois was reported missing on April 4th after he was last seen at his home on Hansson Avenue in the RM of Gimli at about 7:30 p.m., RCMP said in a news release Saturday.

He drove away in a red 2008 Ford Escape with the Manitoba license plate HAJ 859 and may have been heading to Winnipeg’s St. Vital area or Ile des Chenes, Mounties said.

Dubois is described as five feet, 11 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds, has brown hair, brown eyes and a mustache. He was wearing a red shirt, red pants and a green and black plaid jacket when he went missing. He may be disoriented, RCMP said.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Gimli RCMP at 204-642-5104, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or submit a secure tip online.
