Girl, 13, missing from Long Plain First Nation, last seen in February

A girl missing from Long Plain First Nation in southern Manitoba hasn’t been seen for more than two months, police say.

Tyeanne Daniels, 13, was last seen in February at her residence on the First Nation near Portage la Prairie, the Manitoba First Nations Police Service said.

It was only on Wednesday that a missing person report was filed, the MFNPS said in a news release.

Daniels, who is known to frequent Winnipeg, is described as five feet three inches and about 83 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

Police are concerned about her well-being and asking anyone with information to contact the MFNPS at 204-252-4480.
