A section of Winnipeg’s Perimeter Highway northeast of the city is closed due to a motor vehicle crash, the province says.
The province sent out the notice of the closure of Highway 101 at the intersection with Wenzel Road just before 5 p.m.
Witnesses reported seeing emergency crews and STARS air ambulance on the scene.
A man in his 40s was taken to Health Sciences Centre in serious but stable condition, STARS said in a statement sent to CBC News just before 6 p.m.
