Winnipeg police say they’re highly concerned for the well-being of a missing four-year-old girl, who was last seen in the city’s Frasers Grove neighbourhood Sunday afternoon.
Sadie-Jayne Forbes is believed to be with her mother, Shasa Forbes, 28. The pair were at the McDonalds on Henderson Highway and Frasers Grover at about 3:30 p.m., police said in a news release Monday.
They’re believed to have entered Saskatchewan and are headed west.
Sadie-Jayne is three feet, six inches tall, weighs 36 pounds, has brown eyes and long straight brown hair, police said. She was last seen wearing a pink Adidas hoodie, blue leggings, and blue Disney’s Frozen running shoes, carrying a green toy pickle. She has a small birthmark on her right cheek.
Shasa has long curly reddish hair and blue eyes. She wears prescriptions glasses and was last seen wearing a black jacket with stripes, a red under-shirt, black pants and brown Ugg boots.
Anyone with information on the girl or her mother is asked to contact Winnipeg police’s missing persons unit at 204-986-6250.
