Mounties are asking the public for help to find a Thompson woman who may have information on an assault that took place in the northern Manitoba city about two weeks ago.
RCMP say they received a report about an assault at a home on Cornell Place in Thompson around 1 p.m. on April 27.
The officers who went to that home spoke to several residents but could not determine what had taken place earlier that morning, RCMP said in a Wednesday news release.
Police have been looking for Raylene Oman, 20, who they say might have information about the assault.
Her whereabouts are unknown but RCMP say she may have travelled to Winnipeg.
Oman is described as five feet, four inches tall and weighs 160 pounds. She has long black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Oman’s whereabouts is asked to contact Thompson RCMP at 204-677-6909/6911 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477, or to submit a secure tip online.
