Some CBC listeners may be impacted by a service interruption on Wednesday due to tower maintenance in Springstein, Man., located west of Winnipeg.

The outage will begin during CBC’s Information Radio show with host Marcy Markusa at 8:45 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 6 p.m.

Similarly on Friday, people listening to CBC Radio Manitoba 89.3 FM will experience a service interruption between 8:45 a.m. to 6 p.m. because of maintenance on the tower located on the Richardson building in downtown Winnipeg.

The towers can operate on reduced power, but they are generally off-air during periods of maintenance.
