CBC’s over-the-air broadcast channels are unavailable in Winnipeg for a few hours starting Tuesday morning.
Over-the-air television channels in both English and French are unavailable between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Tuesday. The radio signal on 89.3 FM may also be disrupted during this time.
Listeners can still tune in to CBC Radio One Winnipeg at 990 AM.
A loose wire, possibly related to recent stormy weather, was discovered last week by crews inspecting the transmission tower atop the Richardson Building in downtown Winnipeg.
A service outage is needed to allow climbers to do their work safely.
