A 27-year-old Winnipeg woman has been charged in the 2022 death of a 74-year-old man, Winnipeg police say.
Shara Shelby Lynn Harper, 27, was arrested on Friday and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the death of James Monaghan, 74, police said in a news release Tuesday.
Officers found Monaghan’s body at a home near Sherburn Street and Ellice Avenue on July 29, 2022.
Suspicious circumstances around his death led police to investigate it as a homicide.
