City of Winnipeg spray pads to start opening tomorrow

Winnipeg, MB – The City of Winnipeg will begin opening spray pads tomorrow, Saturday, May 18.

Most spray pads operate from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., every day of the week until September 2. Please check City of Winnipeg – Spray Pads or contact 311 for a full list of locations and opening status.

Outdoor Pools
Heated outdoor pools are anticipated to begin opening on Friday, June 21 with the exception of Fort Garry Lions. Unheated pools and Fort Garry Lions are anticipated to open on Friday, June 28

All outdoor pools will operate seven days a week, weather permitting. Information on pool hours and amenities will be available at City of Winnipeg – Outdoor Pools or by contacting 311.

Wading Pools
The City’s wading pools are anticipated to begin opening on a staggered basis as of Monday, July 1.

Operating hours vary by wading pool. Locations and hours will be available at City of Winnipeg – Wading Pools or by contacting 311.
