On September 8, 2024, at approximately 9:30 p.m., a victim in her 40s was robbed at knife point while standing at a bus stop near Main/Mountain. An unknown male, brandishing a knife, approached her from behind, demanded her property, and then fled. The victim was not physically injured.
A Winnipeg Police Service Central Reporting Unit initially met with the victim, and the Major Crimes Unit will continue the investigation.
The suspect was described as a stalky Indigenous male, approximately 5’7” tall. He had a shaved head and wore a medical type of mask.
