Search Warrant – Arrests: R24-26961

In June of 2024, in response to concerns raised by community members, the Winnipeg Police Service began an investigation into individuals believed to be involved in drug trafficking in the Central Park neighbourhood.

Investigating Central District General Patrol officers identified several individuals and a related apartment in the 300 block of Kennedy Street and obtained a search warrant.

On June 20, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m., with assistance from the Tactical Support Team, officers executed the search warrant at the above address. Officers arrested two occupants, an adult male, and an adult female, without incident.

As a result of the search warrant, officers seized the following property as evidence:

  • A 9mm handgun with two(2) loaded prohibited magazines
  • Various Ammunition (9mm/.22/.45)
  • Approximately 3 Kilograms of Cocaine (Estimated Street Value: $124,000)
  • Approximately 240 Grams of Heroin (Estimated Street Value: $132,000)
  • Approximately 700 Grams of Cutting Agent
  • Brass Knuckles
  • A Canister of bear spray repellant
  • A Machete
  • Soft Body Armour
  • Multiple Cellular Phones
  • Multiple Contaminated Scales
  • Approximately $6,400 in CDN Currency

Jordan Evan James PRINCE, 35,  of Winnipeg, is charged with the following offences:

  • Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
  • Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
  • Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order x 4
  • Possession of a Weapon x 2
  • Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Weapon x 2
  • Possess Body Armour without a valid permit or in a manner inconsistent with the valid permit
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
  • Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

He was detained in custody.

The 31-year-old female is facing two charges of Possession of a Scheduled Substance and one charge of Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000.

She was released via an Appearance Notice.
