On April 6, 2024, at approximately 8:50 p.m., officers from the Central District responded to the report of a stabbing on board a transit bus. The victim, in his 20s, was injured on the bus by two suspects who confronted him.
Police located the victim near William Avenue and Lark Street after he exited the bus. He was receiving medical attention from a bystander, and officers continued emergency medical care until he was transported to hospital in stable condition.
The Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate and obtain more information regarding the incident.
