Winnipeg, MB – At 5:02 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to reports of fire at a house on Abbotsford Crescent.
When crews arrived on scene, they found a well involved fire with heavy smoke. Firefighters launched an offensive fire attack and worked to knock the flames down. The fire was declared under control at 6 a.m.
Residents of the home safely self-evacuated before crews arrived on scene. There were no injuries reported.
Damage estimates are not available. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
