Winnipeg, MB – At 6:02 p.m. on Sunday, August 25, 2024, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a single-family bungalow in the 200 block of Antrim Road.
When crews arrived to the scene, they found heavy smoke in the house. They entered and fought the fire from the interior, declaring the fire under control at 6:21 p.m.
All occupants of the house safely self-evacuated prior to the arrival of crews. There were no injuries reported.
Preliminary observations suggest the fire was accidental. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
