Winnipeg, MB – At 12:07 a.m. on Monday, April 22, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to reports of fire at a commercial building in the 1500 block of Church Avenue.
When crews arrived on scene, they found smoke coming from the building. They launched an offensive fire attack and quickly brought it under control. The fire was knocked down by 12:36 a.m.
Firefighters searched the building and no occupants were found. No injuries were reported.
Damage estimates are not available. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
