Winnipeg, MB – At 6:06 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12, Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews responded to reports of fire at a three-storey apartment building in the 100 block of Mayfair Avenue.
When crews arrived on scene, they saw smoke and located the fire. They launched a fire attack and brought it under control at 6:25 a.m.
Firefighters temporarily evacuated some residents from their suites. No injuries were reported.
WFPS’ Accelerant Detection K9 assisted fire investigators at the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
