Winnipeg, MB – At 10:03 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in single-family house in the 100 block of McFadden Avenue.
Upon arrival on scene, crews found heavy smoke coming from the house. They launched an interior fire attack, declaring the fire under control at 10:29 a.m.
Crews completed a search of the structure and no occupants were found. No injuries were reported.
Preliminary observations suggest the fire was accidental, caused by an electrical failure. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
