Winnipeg, MB – At 3:25 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a two-storey, single-family house in the 400 block of William Newton Avenue.
When crews arrived to the scene, they found smoke coming from the house. They entered and fought the fire from the interior. The fire was declared under control at 4:59 p.m.
Crews completed a search of the structure, and no occupants were found. There were no injuries reported.
The fire is under investigation. Damage estimates are not available at this time.
