Fog continues to envelope much of the southern portion of the province on Monday, and even more fog is expected overnight.
Environment Canada has extended a fog advisory eastward, and now includes the City of Winnipeg and surrounding regions.
Environment Canada says that even areas that currently have good visibility could suddenly be covered in dense fog.
A warm front pushing through the province is responsible for the fog.
Meteorologists are also cautioning that with the fog and mild temperatures very icy conditions are likely to develop.
The fog is expected to lift on Tuesday morning.
