Highway 1 just west of Winnipeg is closed Thursday morning because of a collision.
The eastbound lanes, at Assiniboine River Bridge near St. Francis Xavier, are closed.
This closure is due to a motor vehicle collision. There is no word yet on how many vehicles were involved.
There is a detour in effect on Highway 427.
The westbound lanes of Highway 1 are unaffected.
