A 19-year-old man is recovering in hospital after being chased out of a business and struck by a vehicle late Monday afternoon.
Winnipeg police say the man was allegedly causing a disturbance in a business on Main St. near Euclid Ave. at around 4:45 p.m. when he was chased out by staff. The man fled and ran across the street, where he was subsequently struck by a vehicle.
When officers arrived, they found the man suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to hospital in unstable condition and later upgraded to stable.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and spoke to investigators.
The investigation continues.
