A section of the south Perimeter Highway is closed Tuesday morning following a multi-vehicle collision.
The crash happened just before 7:30 a.m. As a result, the Perimeter Highway is closed in all directions at St. Mary’s Road.

There is no word on injuries.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area and find another route.
