A house in the North End is considered a total loss after a fire Tuesday night.
Around 11:09 p.m. on Nov. 5, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a single-storey home in the 1000 block of Redwood Avenue.
Crews found flames and smoke coming from the home when they arrived. Due to the unsafe conditions to enter, firefighters launched an attack from the outside. Neighbouring homes were protected by other firefighters with occupants evacuating temporarily as a precaution.
The fire was declared under control at 11:49 p.m.
No injuries have been reported.
Due to the significant damage from the fire, smoke, and water, the house is considered a total loss.
