Several Manitoba schools closed Thursday due to icy roads and reduced visibility

Several Manitoba schools are closed Thursday morning as a low-pressure system makes its way through the province bringing with it up to 10cm of fresh snow.

This has led to icy road conditions and reduced visibility on many highways in the southern Red River Valley.

Some schools have closed due to road conditions, and others have cancelled buses.
