Teen missing for 10 days may be in Winnipeg

Mounties are asking for help in finding a missing 17-year-old girl.

The Manitoba RCMP says in a release that Selkirk RCMP received a report of the missing girl on August 7, 2024, at 10:55 pm, 

The release says that Alexis Traverse was camping with her family in the Lower Fort Garry area when she left and did not return.

Police say that their investigation has resulted in numerous tips indicating that Traverse may be in the city of Winnipeg. However, officers have yet to speak with her.

Traverse is described as 5’ 5”, thin build with brown hair and brown eyes.
