Winnipeg man charged after being found with replica firearm near Kildonan Park

A Winnipeg male is facing charges after a male was in possession of a firearm near Kildonan Park on Monday morning.

On January 27, at approximately 11:45 a.m., North District General Patrol officers responded to the 1900 block of Main Street for the report of a male in possession of a firearm.

The male suspect was taken into custody a short distance away by the Tactical Support Team (TST) and the North District Community Support Unit. After officers searched the suspect, an unloaded, replica airsoft gun was located.
