A busy Winnipeg roadway is open once again following a serious collision involving a pedestrian on Monday night.
A member of the Winnipeg Police Service says the incident took place around 9:30 p.m. at McPhillips Street and Machray Avenue.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital in critical condition where they remained Tuesday morning. Police say the victim was an adult woman.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and spoke with police.
Investigators had closed the road for several hours but reopened it before 5 a.m.
